Hogwarts has 2 activities planned for August!

Bat Watch on Friday August 7th

There will be a bat watch in Auburn Township (Chagrin Falls area a little north on Aurora) about 30-45 minutes from the church.  As this will be at a private residence, the exact time and location will be forthcoming after responses are received.  The rain date is Saturday the 8th.  We are asking people to bring a small monetary contribution to help her continue her education and conservation work with the bats.

Parents are expected to stay and only Hogwarts age students or older can attend this event due to the late hour.

Family Picnic, Quidditch Game, and Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary on Sunday August 9th

There will be a family picnic followed by a quidditch match and visit to Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary for Hogwarts Students, Prefects, and Assistant Professors.

The picnic will be held at Havres Woods Park at 5838 New Milford Road in Ravenna.

Gathering will be from 12:30-1pm with the picnic beginning at 1:00.  Please bring a dish to share and your own place-settings.  In deference to the animals we are to visit, please bring meat free foods.  Butterbeer will be served, but people may also want to bring alternative drinks.  All family members are invited to attend the picnic.

From the park, Hogwarts students only will be shuttled to Happy Trails Farm Animal Sanctuary for tours and to meet the animals Hogwarts sponsored at the winter session.  Please remember it is a farm, so if it has rained at all in the days leading up to the tour, it will be very muddy, so dress appropriately. A spare pair of shoes may be in order.
